Who We Are Olsen Engineering, Inc. provides investigative and forensic engineering services to manufacturers, attorneys, and
insurance companies. The company was founded by John W. Olsen, PE CFI, who began a transition from design engineering to forensic engineering in 1986.
The company became a Pennsylvania corporation in 1998. The offices
and laboratory facilities are located in Penn Hills, a suburb of
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide accurate engineering services; to consider
all available data in
rendering opinions; to fully advise clients of
findings; to inform clients of potential findings
and implications
as supporting data is reviewed; and to decline work from potential
clients who have a reputation for supporting unfounded claims.
